    Origin International Announces New Tech Centre

    Origin International Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of another Tech Center to the Powered by Origin family. Bobier Metrology Solutions in Flint, Michigan will be providing CheckMate services especially for Equator™ Authoring but not limited to.  They are mostly a Modus shop and have a very high accurate temperature controlled Lab that is used for standard calibrations.  Please check their web site to investigate what DeVere and his team provide to Quality Metrology. http://bobiermetrologysolutions.com.

    New Equator™ Automation Software That Reduces Time to Production

    Equator™ Authoring PC-DMIS is the latest offering of Origin International's Renishaw Equator™ automation software products. Dramatically reducing the time to production, this software reads in a typical PC-DMIS program including the "golden" part measurement data and outputs an Equator™/Modus compliant DMIS program and a CALibration file. All that is left to do is master the "golden" part and run your production parts.

    Origin asks...Are you ready for QIF?

    QIF is the Quality Information Framework, a suite of XML based data models that contain everything from model definitions with associated GD&T, inspection plans, inspection results, to multi-part statistics in a common QIF document format. The new QIF 2.0 standard has been approved by the Dimensional Metrology Standards Consortium (DMSC) for progression to an ANSI standard and will be out for public review this fall.
