Research Partner Open House
McMaster University will be holding an Open House on March 26, 2014.
As a research partner through the NSERC CANRIMT Research Network, Origin International has been collaborating with Dr. Allan Spence at McMaster in GD&T and inspection, including point cloud measurement.
Origin International will be in attendance at the Open House in the CMM area with a demonstration of CheckMate software for these applications.

Long time Origin International Associate, Bob Stone, was recognized for his contribution to the new QIF set of standards at the recent DMSC meeting at Hilton Head Island in South Carolina last week.
On June 18-21, 2013, DMSC/QIF will hold their meeting to discuss Quality Measurement Standards. While there, ask to see Origin International's demo on CMEngine automatically converting CMM reports into QIF for use with QIF-compliant AS9102a report generating software.
Stiffer competition and advances in machining and processes is placing higher demands on dimensional metrology in manufacturing in North America. Origin will present at McMaster Open House some examples of customer applications for adaptive manufacturing of castings, complex 3D GD&T in precision machining, the emergence of laser scanning technology in metrology and soft gauging concepts for advanced GD&T corrective action studies.
